In 1997 Japanese Hi-Tech and consumer product giant Seiko-
Epson hired Design Machine to design a universal iconic
language replacing verbal messages regularly printed in English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French, Italian and German on control panels and remote controls of LCD projectors.
